The most valuable thing I know about starting a business I learned ogling a beautiful woman exercising:
@Kyle1775 Did she know you stopped and took this picture of her? LOL ;P
Kyle, I think there are many things that could fit that metaphor, depending on the business. Anything that we hesitate to do because we are afraid of discomfort that may follow or afraid that we may not be competent to move forward. Registering your business, putting yourself out there to potential clients, and even just telling your friends and family that you are starting a business. We hesitate because we want all the ducks in a row and everything to be perfectly calculated and risk-free before we move, but we never get out the door with that mindset.
Joshua, what would you say would be the equivalent of tying your shoes when starting a business?
The hardest part of going for a run is usually tying your shoes. Once you can get past that mental hurdle and out the door, improvement is bound to follow.
