For a small indoor tent grow (9 plants) , should I keep my rH higher in the first few weeks and then lower it weekly until bloom?
We are about to go into week two of our clones. They've been kept at 70% so far
@West hippie @JimSnacks33 @natewill1245 these are all great questions and experiences to share! It is best to post a new/fresh conversation with these and then users can help you troubleshoot or share resources. Just go to the "growing" room (we are in it now) and go to the right and create a new conversation in that column. Thanks!!
Growing similar strains together is always a good idea. I like to keep strains under different lights that way strains that need more or less light can be adjusted for. If you mix your strains together then they all get the same light profile.
You are on the right track with paying such close attention to your nutrients and pH the more attention you give your plants the more they will give you back.
@West hippie I wish I had more insight here! @budsgrowguide is our grow expert here and maybe he can advise!
I’m running 2 different autos amnesia and caramelious with advanced nutrients, the ph starts out at 5.4ph ( calibrate my meter every 5 days fluctuations are minimal) when it gets to 5.7 I change the nutrients with fresh nutrients (not every 7 days ,I keep the water level at the same spot every day so you can actually see the nutrients used 1115ppm to 970ppm)sometimes it takes 12 days to use it.i mixed 2different plants for got the amnesia likes 20% more nutrients. It’s not a guessing game its a learning experience, all I’m saying is don’t mix plants unless it’s all the seeds I had left!
How's your pH are you keeping it between 5.6 and 6.2? Above or below that and you could have a nutrient lock. Maybe you should do a full 1-gallon water flush. Make sure you pH your water to about 5.6. When the water starts running out of the bottom of your pot capture it and check the pH level of the water exiting your soil. I but it's higher then you think.
