In February 2017, I was invited to visit Tanzania along with 6 other NFL players and Green Berets to raise money and bring awareness to the water crisis in Africa. We raised over $150,000 which funded 2 water wells which will provide life and sustanability for the Maasai Village tribes.
We also climbed Mt Kilimanjaro which was a great achievement and helped increase the profile of the lack of water in Tanzania. A portion of proceeds that we make on The Summits Project will go towards Waterboys.org. If you wish to donate, please go here: https://waterboys.org/group/mark-pattison-conquering-kili/
