President Trump recently issued an Executive Order mandating that all national monument designations that occured in the past 21 years be reviewed. Bears Ears National Monument is first on the docket and the official public comment period is open now until May 26th. The 1.3 million acres of land is home to about 100,000 archaeological sites and climbing areas like Indian Creek, Lockhart Basin, Arch/Texas Canyon, Comb Ridge and Valley of the Gods.
