The Jumpman Quick 6 Returns With a Name Change

20 years later the Jumpman Quick 6 returns with a new name.

The Jumpman Quick 6 Returns With a Name Change...

Speculations arose earlier this year when Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooker took to Instagram displaying a pair of the Jumpman Quick 6 clad in bright neon colors. The Quick 6 made famous by Eddie Jones had never been previously retro’d and only a few colorways of the original ever released to the public.

Collectors and fans rejoice, the Jumpman Quick 6 has returned in its OG colorway. Barring a name change the sneaker is pretty much as close to the original as you could ask for.

Now known as the Jumpman Quick 23, the white/navy colorway features the Jordan Ferrari logo at the heel and air intakes for ventilation, both features made famous by the Air Jordan 14 which also released in 1998.

You can find the Jumpman Quick 23 right now at City Gear for $125.

What year did these originally release? They look like a combination of the Iverson Answer 4 and 5. With that being said, I still wouldn’t cop.

They dropped in 98-99 with the Jordan 14... We had to wear Navy/white uniforms to school so these went with everything.
