Not For Resale Air Jordan 1 High OG

This Jordan 1 is for wearing, not reselling.

Not For Resale Air Jordan 1 High OG

I'm sitting here trying to gather my thoughts for what I want to say about this Air Jordan 1. For starters let's keep it buck by mentioning this feels VERY Virgil, and that's "not a compliment."

I seriously hope this is an inside joke because there's no way Jordan Brand is taking shots at resellers. Whether we like resellers or not, the aftermarket plays an important role in the sneaker community.

Hype and exclusivity are the things that drive the sneakerhead culture. Without those two things Jordan Brand wouldn't be able to create a "Not For Resale" Jordan 1. The shoe features callouts that say "Not For Resale", "No Photos", "Wear Me" ,"Please Crease" and "No Ls" is seen on the insoles.

The obvious thing is people are going to flip pairs on their go-to aftermarket platform. The real question is how much are resellers going to charge? We'll all find out in December when this shoe is released.

I think sneaker heads have ruined the fun and pleasure to wear any retro released with these outlandish prices. A shoe that is purchased for $150 should never be resold for $1000. JB is giving them more value by doing this.

The more I think about it G I think JB is poking fun at folks who don’t wear there sneakers. The No Photos part has to be talking about those IG people that post kicks and never wear them. Even though these are somewhat a Virgil ripoff I do like them and the red colorway too. If they make them limited though this will be an ultimate JB troll.
