Those awful Republicans...

Found a witness that claims Kavanaugh assaulted her in high school Cannot say when. Cannot say where. Cannot say how she got there. Cannot say how she left. Three people, including her close friend, witness it - all three do not remember the incident.

The hold this 'credible' witness back and only play this card when it's clear they cannot 'bork' the candidate. Push back the testimony, claiming the witness does not like to fly, so she'll have to drive. Turns out she was already in the northeast and has flown all over the western hemisphere while on vacations. Do any of us think that the delay wasn't done, so the Republicans could continue to trash the candidate and try to get him to quit? Or to 'better prep' the witness to the quesitons that would be coming? Or to try and did up actual 'proof' to her claims or to find 'others' who would make additional claims? Those awful Republicans.

And sure enough, two more claims come up that were more outlandish than the first. Both with no-one that would support the claims by both. Deperate times for those Republicans means desperate measures...

Then those awful Republicans - ask for a private hearing - granted.
Then those awful Republicans - ask for a public hearing - granted.
Those awful Republicans wanted their witness to testify 'after' Kavanaugh - but the Democrats 'at least' saw through that ruse.

When the witness does testify, it turns out there is nothing new was learned. Except that this one is clearly 'broken' and that something did happen to her. And we know that she got exceptional advice from her 'friend at the beach' had ties to McConnell. Looks like those awful Republicans had this planned out from the top down.

Even after all of this, they pushed for another week of investigations by the FBI. They got what they asked for and when they didn't like what came back - insisted that everything stop for an even deeper investigation. And now that they lost, they are using this to raise money and to try and help with the upcoming November elections...

How low can one go over the name of power...

Those awful Republicans... Holder's right - the Democrats should 'kick' the Republicans for being so 'low' with how they have attempted to tear down a nomination process, while ignoring anything that resembles the rule of law.
