Remember This When Democrats Scream "RUSSIA" Today

Time and time again, the Democrats ridiculed Republicans for raising the issue of Russia.

Today, when you hear Democrats screaming about Russia, remember them mocking Mitt Romney in 2012. Remember them cheering on Barack Obama for his line about the 1980's wanting their foreign policy back. Remember them claiming to have reset the Russian relationship.

Remember John Kerry ridiculing Mitt Romney in 2012.

Remember the Democrats ran attack ads against Mitt Romney over the issue.

And then remember that, according to Friday's indictment, Russian incursions into the American political process began well before the 2016 election. In fact, the Soviets were doing it back in the seventies and eighties. Nothing has really changed. Only the Democrats lost in 2016, so now they're squealing.

Democrats have no plan for making America great again; on the contrary. Yet they attack those who do. In fact the Democrats are the party of attack. Anything and anyone that is good for America and Americans is considered the enemy of the Democrats. They attack conservatives. They attack Christians. They attack white people. They attack middle income persons. They attack the working class. They attack the family and family values. They attack people from certain geographic areas of the nation. Democrats, who want to remold America to become more like communist nations like Russia, now use Russia to attack the current administration.. Why now; why not during the many years past when Democrats had greater influence in government? Why not when Obama was politically "in bed" with Russian leaders?

Truth should not be a pawn in partisan conflict. Democrats are hypocrites regarding Russia, as are many Trump-loving-Republicans...but the truth is that Russia remains a threat to America. Those who love America must unite to oppose this threat, even if that means admitting our political opponents are right at the times they are willing to speak the truth (even if their intentions are malevolent). Fighting with political opponents, merely for the sake of fighting, is petty and meaningless...and only furthers the disruptive goals of Russian bots who aim to divide and conquer.

Vandalii, is your subjective statement that "...I know of no actual Republicans that see Russia as anything but a significant geo-political threat along with China" supposed to be an authoritative response or what?

YouGov has a good track record predicting the outcome of elections, correctly calling 93% of the 2016 races according to fivethirtyeight.com

Interesting how YouGov conducts their polls - it is self-administered questions ... and you sign up to get rewards for taking polls (just signed up to see what would happen).
Reminds me of an episode on "The Orville" where people are executed or acquitted by a global popular voting system. I know of no actual Republicans that see Russia as anything but a significant geo-political threat along with China.

As with many things, a Democrat picking a result for polling self-identifying Republicans often smacks of "have to stopped beating your wife yet...Y/N" in which case all answers make the case for abuse. Dem echo chamber information, I'm afraid.

Russia is our foe in the Middle East. Both the US and Russia have the nuclear power to wipe out the other. Putin was part of the old KGB. The US has enough military power to hold its own for a long time. We are more apt to destroy ourselves from within. I ran and North Korea are the top threats, but Russia and China can't be overlooked. We were only in Korea because the Soviet Union had boycotted the UN.
