Inside the campaign office of Stacey Abrams, who no major media publication has approached about this, former Attorney General Eric Holder told a group of cheering Democrats that when the Republicans "go low" the Democrats should kick them. His remarks come a day after Hillary Clinton said civility would be impossible until the Democrats took back Congress.
On CNN, meanwhile, Brooke Baldwin and Don Lemon are pretty adamant that the mobs storming into restaurants to chase away Republicans are not actually mobs, which Baldwin referred to as the "m-word."
Democrats moved on quickly from James Hodgkinson, the man who attempted a mass assassination of Republicans. At this point, it seems their rhetoric is to incite even more violence. This is not a healthy political atmosphere right now and the Democrats are doing everything they can to fan the flames.
They have interpreted President Trump's win not as a repudiation of Hillary Clinton, but as an invitation to incite violence. They have decided his supporters are all a bunch of angry, violent white men, so they will respond accordingly.
