It Must Be True

I am on this person's team. They have said something. So it must be true, never mind the facts.

A lot of supposed conservatives are suddenly ready to drive Amazon into bankruptcy because the President says they're bad and taking advantage of the post office these same conservatives once wanted to privatize. The facts are not their favor. But they do not care about the facts. Because the President says so, it must be true. Damn the facts.

I am reminded this morning that the left does the exact same thing.

The witch hunt against Scott Pruitt has a bunch of liberal reporters and activists saying a bunch of things that are not true, but because it got reported by a liberal reporter with an agenda, it must be true. Damn the facts.

Mollie Hemingway has a great round up of all the lies being shared as facts. So much of what is being said is not true, but the left is declaring Scott Pruitt corrupt based on those lies. And they, like Trump supporters attacking Amazon, are convinced not only of a truth that is not true, but of their righteousness.

If those who criticize Trump, for his alleged ignorance, were as smart as Trump they would all be billionaires. Perhaps being a little ignorant has some financial rewards. Just thinking.

I am not sure how anyone would take anything Trump says seriously after all the daily whopper lies. I suppose he is like a stopped clock that gets something right a couple of times a day more or less by accident. He would look much more wise if he could learn to restrain the continuous mental flatulance. But I think that is what his supporters thrive on. Looks alot like idiocracy. The really sad thing is as pig ignorant as he is it is still better tha Hillbillery, not to polish the turd but here we are?

Scott Pruitt is being attacked because he is carrying out a conservative agenda at a liberal agency. However, he is receiving additional scrutiny because the president ran, in part, on "draining the swamp". Now, I know the apartment rental was technically approved, but you MUST admit, it seems very swampy. In fact, the 18-year ethics employee that approved the rental agreement now is saying he didn't have all the information at the time. Spend your energy defending someone more worthy...
