You know who is remarkably silent during this gun control debate? Joe Manchin. That'd be the same Joe Manchin whose stellar proposal this year for building Senate collegiality is to ban Senators from campaigning against one another. That'd be the Joe Manchin who talks like a conservative and votes like a liberal.
The time is right to beat Joe Manchin, but there's really only one candidate who can. That would be Patrick Morrisey, the Attorney General of West Virginia. He happens to be the first Republican to ever win that office and he has used that office to defend West Virginians against the encroachments of Washington that Manchin has turned a blind eye to.
Conservatives have an opportunity to help Patrick Morrisey. He has largely united the conservative movement between those who are very pro-Trump and those who are skeptical. He has shown them all he is committed to advancing a pro-freedom agenda, will be commitedly pro-life, will not play footsie with leftists, and has the interests of West Virginia at heart.
