A federal court has refused to issue a temporary restraining order to reject Mick Mulvaney as acting head of the Consumer Financial Protection Board. This is a huge win for President Trump. Since Friday, Democrats have worked the media to claim that Trump was acting against the law by naming Mulvaney as acting director.
Today came word that the senior staff at the CFPB had rejected Richard Cordrary's claims to be able to name his own successor. He did it anyway. Today, a federal judge is siding with President Trump and against the Democrats on this issue.
