Anita Hill Isn't the Best Choice to Help Hollywood

The woman who accused Clarence Thomas was pretty dismissive of victims of Bill Clinton's predilections.

Let's face it, Anita Hill is resurfacing as a heroine of the left because she, like Al Franken until Alabama was resolved, is a helpful foil against the right. Hollywood wants her to lead a commission on sexual harassment . Hill, you will recall, accused Clarence Thomas of all sorts of abuse. Her story and related witnesses contradicted themselves so much that Thomas was confirmed through a Joe Biden led Judiciary Committee and a Democrat majority Senate. But it was far easier to believe bad things about Clarence Thomas than admit Hill was not as credible as she appeared.

But wait… before you take offense at me saying that, let's review Anita Hill's treatment of Bill Clinton's accusers. Here she is recently on Meet the Press, where she was sympathetic to the #MeToo cause

But here she is years ago with Tim Russert defending Bill Clinton against his accusers.

Here she is talking about Paula Jones.

Hill was not only not not a champion of the accusers, but was rather dismissive of them. She, like other partisan Democrats, rallied to her own side. This is the woman Hollywood wants to put in charge of its sexual harassment commission. I wonder if she will revisit her statements on Clinton's accusers before doing so.

Anita Hill is a funny choice, considering her claims were thrown out, if I recall

No credibility. However, it appears that any way you can stain the honor of a good person (I almost said "man") is considered a beneficial thing if you're a Democrat. If she refused to give succor to Clinton, and supported his genuine victims, Hill might be worth listening to...
