On Tuesday, Tebow’s New York Times bestseller Shaken: Discovering Your True Identity in the Midst of Life’s Storms was named Christian book of the year by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA).
In his latest work, due out May 16, the 29-year-old athlete and philanthropist laments the trappings our image-obsessed culture.
“Nobody said your life would be easy,” a synopsis of the book reads. “And the older you get, the more difficult it seems to become. Deep down you may know your value as a person isn’t defined by wearing cool name-brand clothes, scoring points for a sports team, or even by having a huge number of social media followers. And you’re right! Your identity resides in something—in fact, Someone—much greater than anything this world can offer: The only identity worth having… is found in Jesus Christ!”
The book will offer 36 lessons, each rooted in a key scripture passage, to help homeschooled children discover their identity using Christian virtues as a foundation. The lessons are meant to help you “discover who you are—by learning more about whose you are.”
