Paging Joy Behar: Oprah’s Just as Pray-Cray as Mike Pence

As Oprah weighs her 2020 plans just like a normal believer would, we await her next visit to "The View" with popcorn.

Well this is awkward.

Just one week after “The View’s” Joy Behar suggested VP Mike Pence was “mentally ill” for thinking the Lord speaks to him in prayer, People.com reports that Oprah Winfrey will decide about a potential 2020 Presidential bid based on one thing:

I went into prayer, ‘God, if you think I’m supposed to run, you gotta tell me, and it has to be so clear that not even I can miss it.’

Well, that at least sounds Vice Presidential.

As The Washington Times reported last week, ABC received over 25,000 complaints following Behar’s controversial comments. Per Fox News, that number has since swelled past 30,000, plus an additional 6,000 calls aimed at “The View’s” advertisers.

Will Behar now devote airtime to equal-opportunity mocking of Oprah’s own religious psychiatric problems? Or maybe take the high road this time and simply refuse to support her, citing unfitness for office?

Or perhaps Mike Pence isn’t crazy.

To be fair, most people who say this don’t mean an audible voice was heard out loud, just that the Spirit put the thought in their head, not their own cognitive faculties—sort of like an “Inception”, but with Kirk Cameron instead of Leo DiCaprio.

Agreed. She’s been pretty clear about such. But the double standard...it burns...

If someone told me that God spoke to them, well, let's just say, I'm looking for another pew.

Not sure Oprah prays to the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, as Mike Pence does.
She’s more of a New Age’r.
Principal is the same, what say you, Joy!
