President Trump has picked Larry Kudlow to lead the national economic council. Kudlow was a favorite of many conservatives and has received considerable support from top business leaders. He is also a senior contributor at CNBC.
Kudlow will win and Trump will back down on his demand for tariffs. Trump often speaks out of his rear and then has to be criticized from the right until he corrects course. To his credit, most of the time he is very receptive to correcting based on criticism from the right and ends up where he needs to be. I expect tariffs to be the same.
