Kyrsten Sinema is the Democratic candidate for Senate in Arizona. She is currently locked in a tight race with Republican Martha McSally. Sinema's chances of winning Jeff Flake's old seat just got a lot worse with a newly leaked video in which she calls Arizona a 'crazy' state.
The video, posted on the Twitter feed of the Reagan Battalion, reportedly comes from a 2011 speech that Sinema made in Texas.
In the video, Sinema says that people look at Arizona and say, "Damn, those people are crazy."
"Is it something about the water?" she asks rhetorically. "No, the water's fine. It's all from Colorado. There's nothing wrong with the water. They're called Republicans."
Sinema goes on to tell the audience how to "stop your state from becoming Arizona."
As the clip closes, Sinema lists the five "Cs" that are the foundation of the Arizona economy: Cattle, copper, citrus, cotton and climate. Then she quips, "I would add a sixth 'C.' It's called crazy."
Arizona voters may wonder why Sinema wants to represent them if she considers the state so mentally challenged. It's a question that the candidate had better have a good answer for.
