Prior To Arrest, George Papadopoulos Considered Running For Congress

Not only was Papadopoulos mulling a run for office, he was also searching for a book publisher at the time of guilty plea.

The Washington Examiner is reporting that George Papadopoulos considered running for Congress at the time of his arrest by the FBI in July 2017.

George Papadopoulos, the recently indicted former campaign adviser to President Trump, asked his LinkedIn followers — days before being arrested by the FBI in July — if he should run for Congress. The FBI had been interviewing the 30-year-old foreign policy adviser to Trump since January, but the investigation did not deter him from plotting his next career move.
