Volunteer Fire Chief Paul Smith of the Muse Fire Department in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania has apologized for calling Steelers coach Mike Tomlin the 'N-word' according to the New York Daily News.

"Tomlin just added himself to the list of no good n-----s. Yes I said it," Smith wrote. He later released a statement to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 to apologize for what he said. "I am embarrassed at this. I want to apologize. I was frustrated and angry at the Steelers not standing for the anthem," Smith said. "My FD had absolutely nothing to do with this. I am deeply regretful at what I posted."It's unclear whether or not Smith will face disciplinary actions for his remarks. The decision will likely come from the fire department.

He's sorry for getting caught. He should be out of a job. If I said that shit I sure would be.
