Kremlin Denies That Trump Spoke With Putin About Election Interference

The Kremlin has denied reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed U.S. election interference with President Donald Trump when both met recently.

The Kremlin has denied reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed U.S. election interference with President Donald Trump when both met recently.

Who do we believe? The Kremlin or the President of the United States?

Dmitry Peskov [Kremlin spokesman] told CNN's Matthew Chance earlier Saturday that, as far as he knew, Putin and Trump did not discuss meddling in the elections, though he later said it was discussed between the two leaders. "Putin told Trump these reports have no ground and categorically rejected even the hypothetical possibility that Russia could somehow interfere in the election process," Peskov said, according to state news agency RIA.

Does it really matter, whether Kremlin denies that Trump spoke to Putin and what he spoke to him about, regarding Russian interference in our Electoral proces? I think NOT! What really matters is that Donald Trump, has not come out publicly condemning Putin and Russian interference in our Electoral process, after all the evidence gathered by US Intelligence Agencies. He delayed enacting some of the sanctions passed overwhelmingly by Congress, and chose not enact some of them, related to the Russian interference. He stated publicly that he fired FBI Director Comey for pursuing the "Russia Investigation". He bragged to the Russian Ambassador, in the Oval Office, that fireing Comey would take the pressure off of the Russian investigation.
