Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) claims that God has forgiven him for sleeping with his patients among other things.

Family-values Republican Congressman Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) claims that God has forgiven him for sleeping with multiple patients and pressuring at least one to have an abortion.

Documents, from GOP Rep. Scott DesJarlais’ 2000 divorce proceedings, paint a lurid picture of a doctor who had multiple affairs with coworkers and patients — at least one of whom he prescribed pain pills for — while he was chief of staff at a local hospital.

DesJarlais was married at the time of these affairs. At the time of his first election, he claimed that he was anti-abortion, a position that he still holds.

DesJarlais insisted that he was anti-abortion. But the news that his wife had two abortions — one for medical reasons and another because the couple agreed a child was not a good idea — could call into question the sincerity of DesJarlais’ position.

Now, DesJarlais claims that God has forgiven him (how he knows is unclear) for pressuring his mistress into having an abortion and having sex with multiple patients under his care.

When GOP congressman Scott DesJarlais (TN) was a doctor, he had sexual relationships with his patients. Despite being a “pro-life” advocate, he pressured women in his life to have abortions, including his ex-wife, who had two abortions while they were together.

DesJarlais comes off as a real catch when describing how he helped his 'psycho' mistress receive an abortion in Atlanta.

“She said that I had her pregnant,’ DesJarlais said in evidence. ‘I never really believed it.” However, he still offered to take the young woman, who he called “a psycho” to Atlanta for an abortion.

DesJarlais said all is good because he knows for a fact that God has forgiven him.

DesJarlais proclaims that he is ‘pro-life and proud of it’, and says ‘God has forgiven me.’

Invoking God's name publicly for a self serving man to defer hate for his acts is not spiritual. It is an attempt to lessen his prison sentence.

Now I understand why atheists refer to f---ing Christians. They may actually f--k more than many of us.

Maybe he should forgive God? Looks like his head and penis were accidentally swapped...
