What is the Major League Baseball All-Star Game?

Also known as the “Midsummer Classic”, the MLB All-Star Game is a mid-season game played by the All-Stars from the American League and the National League. Typically played on the 2nd or 3rd Tuesday in July, the players are currently selected by both fans and managers. The winning league of the All-Star Game gets home field advantage for the first two games of the World Series.
