I love this quote. Good lesson for anybody trying to convince opponents with facts alone. Sticking to the facts assumes that everyone who hears them will be moved by them, but that's often not the case. Stories are more likely to make listeners feel something.

Stories also connect us. They open that part of the brain that always already knows that we are all one and hurting anyone hurts everyone.
