Brad Thomas researches and writes on a variety of real estate based fixed – income alternatives including publicly-listed REITs. Given his vast knowledge as a developer, broker, and investor, Thomas has become an industry expert with a strong background in capital markets.
Thomas is a contributor for both Seeking Alpha and Forbes where he writes weekly articles on REITs. Thomas is also a Senior Analyst at iREIT and he is the Editor of the Forbes Real Estate Investor, a monthly newsletter. He maintains real-time research on around 100 U.S. equity REITs, Mutual Funds, and REIT ETFs.
In addition to writing and lecturing, Thomas is a commercial real estate strategist, consultant, and advisor. He is currently a consultant for Aurus Capital based in Santiago, Chile. Thomas recently authored a book, along with co-author Stephanie Krewson-Kelly, called The Intelligent REIT Investor: How to Build Wealth with Real Estate Investment Trusts and he is currently writing his second book on Donald J. Trump.
Thomas received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Presbyterian College and has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for more than 25 years and has also guest lectured at Cornell University.
