Here's why we need you to pursue happiness with us!

Our passion at The Pursuit of Happiness is discovering how America's foundational principles guide each of us to flourish in our communities, our jobs, our homes, and our hearts.

We need your insights so we can help each other form a more perfect union.

Sign in and start a conversation in a topic area. Or create and share a story.

Here's how it works: First, sign in via an email log-in, Google, or Facebook ID. Then pick a topic area — community, work, family, and faith.

From there, you have the choice to select a "story," which includes a headline and image you can upload and add. Or you can choose a "conversation" from the right side of the page, and drop in a link and just a few words.

Then share your moment of clarity, when you found a smart, positive approach to a nagging pickle.

It can be a short comment and a link to a story that moved you. Or you can create and share a story about a situation you handled with finesse. Don't be afraid to tell your accomplishments, offer a suggestion, or guide others on a good way to solve a problem.

In return, we're sharing how public policy is shaped and informed by real-world experience — yours, and describing how Washington can do a better job of ensuring the liberty we need to be our best selves.

We want to hear from you — people who are tired of the anger, who think the best really is ahead, that problems are fixable, and that the American dream still is the most amazing set of ideals on which to build a nation.

Join us. Because we're not giving up on this grand experiment, and neither should you.
