Many of us want to increase our income, it's just a natural part of the working life. Some of us need more income than others though. A person living in California needs a lot more money per year than someone living in Mississippi.
Some of us have large amounts of debt to conquer. That will sometimes require a higher income in order to pay the bills and to overcome those debts.
So how do we increase our income? Dave talks with Victoria about the topic, and one of the things that stood out the most to me is that we need to be intentional about raising our own wages.
We can't simply sit passively on the issue. If we want to earn higher wages, we need to make an intentional effort to do that. It means thinking hard about ways to climb up the ladder at work; about side gigs that could bring in some extra money; or even if we need to change jobs for something better.
If we want to improve on our situation, we need to be actively engaged in doing so. It's not that hard of a concept. If you aim at nothing, you'll hit every time. If you make a goal, and have plan to achieve it, you'll make progress.
