There Is Such a Thing as "Skinny Fat People" and "Fat Skinny People."

  • It comes down to how healthy you eat rather than how much you eat. And unfortunately, while access to food has improved immensely for people around the globe, the quality of food still leaves something to be desired.

However, it's not conclusive that body mass index is the best determinate to assess whether someone is healthy or not.

"Obesity rates, determined by body-mass index standards, rose from .7% for girls in 1975 to 5.6% in girls in 2016. Just under 1% of boys were considered obese in 1975, but that number jumped to nearly 8% 2016."
