For a while I've often referred to people always on their phones as junkies, but maybe there's something to it. Being constantly on your phone or computer? That's just not healthy.
People need to be in contact with others in person, not merely through the internet. Digital interaction cannot substitute for in-person interaction, yet I think many people are attempting to substitute the latter with the former, and that's simply bad for our social health.
Time to put the phones down and talk to each other, face to face (and that most certainly includes me).
