as a verizon customer i would have liked an alert from them. Your post is the first i heard of this

@B-investor - these companies will often times wait months after a breach has occurred and release a press release. It is ridiculous. Of course you would want to know. How else can you be proactive? Companies spin this information to try and make it less damaging. - go figure
