NEVER Be Stranded By A Dead Battery Again

Scotty Kilmer shows how NEVER to be Stranded by a dead battery again. All you need is a little lithium ion jump box to get going again.

Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 49 years, shows how a little lithium jumper cable box you put in your trunk can start your car right up when the battery dies. NEVER get stranded again.

Yes, these little jumper lithium batteries REALLY do work.

Love that wolf at the end!

It also helps to check your battery every 4 months. Keep it clean and add some electro lube. :D

Hey Scotty I have a 2004 Honda Acoord that is having a battery or alternator issue but i am not sure which it is. The alternator is a year old and the battery is no more than 1 1/2 yrs old. I have charges the battery and the charge only last about 3 days. The car never cuts off while driving but you have to jump it every time. There is a drain on the battery and i hooked a multimeter up to the car battery and the voltage is around 13.4 after i jump it with a jumpbox. When it is not running it is at around a 12. I used the multimeter and put the negative on the negative battery post and put the positive on the mounting bolt of the alternator and the reading was 1.03 when i touched the surface of the alternator it was .51 and when i touched the nut that has a cable the reading was .12. Do you have an idea of what it could be.

, realize auto zones test alt ad batteries free. And, realize, it could just be the battery, or could even be both. testing is the route to go. Also do this battery drain video test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B__DqK90IIc
