Well, the Acura's done it now! I was driving to my girlfriend's house (A half hour away from my house) when the serpentine belt snapped and took out the alternator shortly after I got off the Ohio Turnpike! I managed to safely pull into a Goodyear Auto service center, where it sits right now getting repaired. I called the previous owner, who said the alternator was recently changed at Bell Tire, a couple weeks before I got the car. Bell Tire said they lost the bolt that was holding on the old alternator and put on another bolt which Goodyear says is the "wrong bolt". Should I get new bolts at an Acura dealer or leave it to Goodyear to have the correct bolts?
