Scotty last night I was in a little rush to get to the doctor. I hooked up my gps and the wire accidentally got caught in the steering column of my 06' Toyota camry pulling the gps off the windshield where I had it mounted when I made a turn. The wire was wedged in the steering column. I was able to get it out. The gps seems to work ok after inspecting it when it fell to floor, and it works wire ok. Do you think I damaged steering column? No noises when turning, and no check engine light. Someone on youtube broke a spiral cable on their prius they had in a video from something similar. Thanks.
