Rubber is going bad on a high mile Acura...time for a new one?

The rubber on my 2006 Acura MDX is going bad about everywhere. When I say rubber I mean seals etc. is it worth fixing?

Hi there, so I have a 2006 Acura MDX with a little over 223,000 miles on it. Right now, I have lost almost all pleasure in driving it because of how rough it rides and how loud the suspension is while going over bumps etc. According to both my dealer and my personal mechanic, a lot of the rubber seals/buffers/tubes/etc. are going out on it. I think the largest rubber seal that is going out is the "rear main seal" on my transmission, which is about $300-$600 to replace. In addition to that, I will need to get a valve alignment done as well (around $600). According to sites like Kelly Blue Book, my car is worth approximately $2,000 as she sits. So anyone got any suggestions on wheather or not I should hold onto it?

Thanks!

drive it till it drops, then get a toyota. Not worth putting money into that thing, tranny will itself go bad and cost tons to rebuild or replace soon
