Hi Scotty,

I've got a 2011 Toyota Tundra. When the truck has not warmed up, if I shift from park to drive I get a very heavy jolt. Almost seems enough to cause damage to the driveline. If I reverse before shifting to drive it seems to behave normally. Ive heard this is normal but I dont really believe it. Any input on this?

Thanks,

Brian from MN

well, that means transmission has some internal wear, and many end up doing that. I would just shift R to D all the time to prevent further wear
