Hi Scotty, I appreciate the reply to the last question from a month ago. I do have a question. So, on my 2003 Mazda Tribute I had an issue with it a few weeks ago with the oil light coming on. I did watch one of your videos on the oil pressure sending unit, so I did take it to a place and it was the oil pressure sending unit that needed to be replaced as the oil light went away when they put new one in. It has not come ever since now, however, the repair place did say that the oil pressure is at the low end of the spectrum. So does that mean the oil pump is going in it? And is this also a common thing to happen with this type of car? I wanted to understand that better. I really don't hope I don't have to get the whole pump replaced. They did say there was no engine noise and that the engine should be fine and to monitor the light. But I'm hoping it doesn't come back on and that the oil pump stays good for a while. The car has about 155,000 miles on it now, and I typically put a good amount of miles on it every month. But let me know about that.

old age, mazdas often do that. As long as engine does not clatter when idling or running, pressure is good enough

I appreciate the reply Scotty, thanks for letting me know. The car is still running pretty well. Another question: So on my Mazda Tribute, I got the automatic transmission rebuilt on it a little over 2 years ago when it had 113,000 miles on it. Now it has about 157,000 miles on it. I watched your video from a few weeks ago about how often you should change the transmission fluid in cars. Assuming there isn't a major problem with the engine or anything else with it, I would like to hopefully try and keep the car for another two years (roughly 40, to 44,000 more miles). Do you think I should get the transmission fluid changed in it at some point? What is your recommendation for this make and model?? From what the car mechanic by my work said about this type of car, this car actually has a Ford Engine and Ford Transmission in it, not actually a Mazda even though it is a Mazda car. But let me know what your recommendation is for if/when I should get the automatic transmission fluid changed in it. The transmission has been shifting fine since the rebuilt, so there haven't been any problems with it, but let me know.
