Hey Scotty, I have owned a 1992 Honda Civic DX Automatic with 244,000 miles on it for about 3 years now. I got it around when it had 218,000 miles on it. According to my Honda manual, it says I should drain the automatic transmission fluid and put three fresh quarts in it every 30,000 miles or 2 years. I found the dipstick for my automatic transmission and the fluid was below the low marking. I have no current problems with my transmission, it just shifts a little hard. I was wanting to know do you recommend I drain the little bit of old fluid left in it and put some new Honda transmission fluid in it? I watched two videos on it and it seemed very simple to do. Let me know, thanks!

go ahead and try that, just realize being that old, transmission is certainly worn inside and hard shifting generally occurs as they start to wear out
