The Arizona Cardinals signed punter Andy Lee to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
Financial terms were not disclosed for the deal, which will keep Lee with the Cardinals through the 2020 season.
The 35-year-old Lee will be entering his 15th NFL season overall and second with Arizona. He established a single-season franchise record with a 47.3-yard punting average in 2017.
A three-time first-team All-Pro selection during his 11 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, Lee has finished in the top 10 in the NFL in gross punting average in 11 of his 14 seasons.
In 217 games with the 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and Cardinals, Lee has a career average of 46.4 yards per punt and a net average of 39.6.
Lee has dropped 372 punts inside the 20-yard line, which is tied for eighth place on the all-time list.
