Tired of exercise? Feel like you’ve been riding a bike to nowhere for a very long time? Truth is, you probably have. Scientists have now discovered that exercise isn’t the key to losing weight like we (well, they) all thought. In fact, it doesn’t help hardly at all.
So all those yearly memberships to the gym, and the months of guilt for not going was for nothing. Money and time down the drain. That’s not to say there’s nothing to be gained from working out. It’s a great time to work on your cardiovascular health, great for muscle tone, for strength and core training, etc, but if you are going to lose weight – you’re going for the wrong reasons. Trade out those fries for some vegetables instead, you’ll have much more luck.
