There are some videos we watch that just seem really unreal. And sometimes with those videos we might not believe what's happening, but still want to watch it anyway. Because it's that cool. This is one of those videos. Who knew that dry erase marker could dance? Turns out, if you draw a dry erase stick figure on a smooth surface, and pour water over it, the figure lifts from the surface and dances around.
It. Is. Amazing.
But is it real? Short answer, yeah, it actually is!
When the first video came out showing this a few years ago there was a lot of skepticism as to whether or not it was a special effect. The truth is, there's a little bit of oil in dry erase markers and when combined with water, the marker image floats to the top.
