Every year as soon as Thanksgiving is over, we pull out our Christmas trees and the Salvation Army pulls out their bell ringers. And yes, it's a great charity. And yes, when we have change in our pockets a lot of us will put thirty six or so cents into the bucket. But to be honest, most of us kind of dread walking out of the store and having to face down the bell ringer.
And not because we don't want to be charitable, either. I mean, sure sometimes we're in a hurry, but most of the time it's some guy or gal freezing their tuckus off, looking a little hangdog, and ringing that bell like some harbinger of anti-Christmas cheer. You might have had a great day, but the second you hear that "ding, ding, ding" it's all over.
Well, apparently not in New York. No. In New York they have THIS guy. Armed with a CD player and an overabundance of energy, this guy looks like he's having the time of his life. Watching him makes you Want to donate. Forget thirty six cents. For someone like this, I'd give up whole bills. And I bet you would, too. What an awesome guy!
