What you need

Cup or Mug
Matching Fabric
Fiber filling
Needle and thread

Choose a fabric that will compliment the design on the cup.

Place your fabric down and as a guide cut it 4 inch larger than the rim of the cup, it doesn’t have to be perfect as it will be out of sight.

Using a needle and strong thread, sew a running stitch around the outer edge of the fabric, we will use this to draw up the circle.

Before you draw it up, place some craft filling inside the ball, and begin drawing up the fabric, the more filling you can push into it the firmer your pin cushion will be.

Once you have enough filling inside draw up the circle and stitch it off securely.

Alternatively if you don’t want to sew it you can use rubber bands to pull the fabric up.

Run some craft glue around the inside of the cup or mug and place your circle inside with the drawn up part facing inwards. Push it in nice and firmly and allow it to dry. It’s that Easy !

These are fun for kids to make for mothers day gifts or for fete stalls.
