What you need
Gift Box (Preferably Shallow)
Insulators or Hard Foam Sheets
Hot Glue or High Solids Acrylic Liquid Adhesive (i.e. Super Glue)
Glue together the felt paper and the foam or insulator. The color of the insulator or foam doesn’t matter because it will be covered.
Wait for 1-2 hours for the glue to dry.
Measure the longer side of your box (if it is a rectangular box). Make sure that the width of the felt covered foam or insulator is the same as the longer side of your box. Cut any excess paper.
Measure the height of your box. If your box has a lid, it would be better if you subtract 5 mm to the height when folding the sheets. If you want to fill up the box, make sure you use the exact measurements of the height of your box.
This is the reason why it is advisable to have a shallow box. Start folding inwards and outwards until you form something like a zigzag.
Glue the parts where the sponge paper meets.
Do not glue the parts where the felt paper meets, it is where the rings will be placed. Cut any excess sponge paper and felt. Each fold must have the same height.
If you want to change the design of your box, now will be the time to cover the box. Usually, a gift box already has a dainty design.
Put glue to the bottom and to the sides inside the box.
Put the sponge paper inside; make sure it is tightly squeezed to one side. Continue doing this until the box is full of the felt covered foam or insulators
Repeat steps 1-3 until the box is filled wait for it to dry and you now have your ring and earring holder.
