Yukon, Oklahoma - Daniel Deffner, 39, was arrested on Friday, June 9, and charged with planning with a pregnant mother to sexually abuse her unborn baby, according to WJLA.
The Canadian County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Midwest City Police Department on Thursday, June 8, after finding evidence that Deffner traded in child pornography. That evidence also showed that Deffner had been messaging a pregnant woman who lived in Midwest City on Facebook.
The Facebook conversations between Deffner and the unidentified pregnant woman show that they "planned to rape, torture and sexually molest" the baby after it was born. Deffner described 'in great detail' the sexual acts that he would perform on the child.
Police said that the mother of the unborn child not only gave consent to Deffner for what he planned to do to the baby, but stated that she would join in.
In a statement, Canadian County Sheriff Chris West said, "This is one of, if not the sickest things I’ve ever heard of, and I can’t describe the evil and deranged details of what they were planning to do to this innocent and defenseless baby."
During the investigation of Deffner, police also uncovered evidence that he had manipulated an 11-year-old girl into sending him nude photos of herself. He also was able to arrange a meeting with her earlier this year, according to KFOR. Police also learned the identity of that victim during the investigation.
Investigators from the Canadian County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant on Deffner's residence, where it was reported that they found 'multiple electronic devices containing approximately seven images of the 11-year-old girl, and other child pornography."
Daniel Deffner has been charged with procuring a minor in child pornography, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is in jail under $101,500 bond. He was already on probation for child neglect and drug charges.
Sheriff West said, “It sickens me to no end that an 11-year-old girl spent any amount of time alone with such a sick and demented individual as Deffner. I pray that baby wasn’t scarred for life."
Police said that the pregnant woman's children have been removed from her home, and 'placed into protective custody with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.' Charges are pending against her from the Midwest City Police Department.
