New York City, NY - A 16-year-old who admitted he has no respect for police officers decided to disrespect the funeral of fallen NYPD Detective Miosotis Familia on Tuesday.

According to The New York Post, the teen, Julien Rodriguez, 'blasted' the NWA song 'F* Tha Police out of his third floor apartment window on East 188th Street, to the thousands of police officers below who had sadly gathered for her funeral. A few minutes later he received a visit from about 20 NYPD officers.

Rodriguez said that it was "satisfying" to play the song 'on repeat', and that cops had disrespected him when they 'killed his brother and friend.'

He said "Since they did not show respect for my brother and my friend, why should I show respect to them?"

When the officers arrived to talk to Rodriguez about stopping the music, one officer spoke in Spanish to him about his own experience growing up as a Latino teen in the community.

He told reporters with The New York Post that he apologized but only because the apartment superintendent threatened to throw his family out of the apartment they were staying in. Officers attending the funeral were angry at the disrespect, and said "this is the s--- we face every day."

Rodriguez gave the reporters the name of his brother and friend who he said were killed by 'cops,' but they could find nothing about either man. It is unknown if either actually exists.

He also told reporters that while he hates cops, he respects Detective Familia. He said, “I feel sympathy for that, because all she was trying to do was take bad people off the street. It was wrong because she did not do anything wrong but at the same time, my bro and my best friend died for no reason.”

Detective Familia was assassinated as she sat in a command vehicle on Wednesday, July 5, by admitted 'cop-hater' Alexander Bonds. She was a 12-year NYPD veteran, and left behind three children. She was 48-years-old.

The building superintendent, who identified himself only as 'Jesus,' said that he would not tolerate this behavior against officers.

When he heard what happened, he left work, went to Rodriguez's apartment, and told all of the occupants to get out. He said that he had allowed them to stay there, and that they had been there about a week. He added that he had "a deep respect" for officers.
