Cop Killer Says 'I Hate You,' Gives Final Message Before He's Put Down

Torrey McNabb had shot Officer Gordon five times while officer sat in his patrol car.

Atmore, Alabama - A convicted cop killer cursed at the state and said “I hate you” and raised both hid middle fingers before he was put to death by lethal injection.

Torrey McNabb, 40, was put to death Oct. 19 and raised both middle fingers as the procedure began. McNabb had sued Alabama over its lethal injection method, according to CBS News.

McNabb's attorneys had unsuccessfully sought to stop the execution in a lawsuit challenging the humaneness of the state's lethal injection procedure.

McNabb was convicted of killing Montgomery police officer Anderson Gordon in 1997. McNabb shot Officer Gordon five times as the officer sat in his patrol car.

Officer Gordon was at the scene of an accident McNabb caused while fleeing a bail bondsman.

CBS News reported that Gordon's relatives said in a statement that Officer Gordon was devoted to his family, his two children and his career as a police officer.

"Over 20 years ago, we lost a companion, a father, a brother and friend who only wanted to make a difference in his community," the statement read.

"Although, the wounds of having a family member murdered can never be healed, through this tragedy, the Gordon family has remained strong and will continue to be resilient."

McNabb’s lawsuit claimed that the sedative used in the lethal injection didn’t render a person unconscious before killing them.

The lawsuit pointed to a lethal injection where an Alabama inmate coughed and heaved for 13 minutes before dying.

McNabb appeared to be breathing for the first 20 minutes of the 35-minute long procedure, CBS News reported.

The news site reported that McNabb later appeared to move his head, grimace and raise his arms after two consciousness checks.

The guard pinched his arm, said his name and pulled back his eyelid - before eventually becoming still. McNabb was pronounced dead at 9:38 PM.

We have to do something about the fact that our tax dollars feed, clothe and house convicted killers for 20+ yrs before they get their sentences carried through. I understand if there is doubt. But in cases like this where there is no question, it's pure madness and all about receiving $$ from not just us, but the inmates families where local phone calls are charged at a ridiculous rate, and canteen monies are regularly deposited. We must END the privately owned penitentiaries! And stop the Gov from this behavior in Gov owned facilities! Outrageous!

I wonder if the officer suffered for 13 minutes or more before he died after being shot by this idiot. After 20 yrs, the officers kids are grown and his killer was still living. Bye Bye, you met God when that injection took effect. Where are you now?

I think God put him on the Down Elevator Express...

Good reddens to bad rubbish! The convict if there is confusion. 😠

My condolences go to the Officers Family. I’m sorry it took so long. Even though the death penalty will never bring Office Gorden back to his family and colleagues. I hope it gives them some satisfaction and closure. RIP Officer Gorden.

Screw that piece of shit.

Oh snap. He showed them.

I wonder if this defiant piece of human garbage gave God the two finger salute, or did he cry like the little bitch coward that he REALLY was...?

Thank God they put an end to that part of that gene pool! What a coward!
