Neighbors angry after Black man bought $350,000 house for $16

The story of Kenneth Robinson might remind all of us of the importance of studying and knowing the law. Apparently, he made a valiant effort to claim a home for just the $16 it costs to file the paperwork in the courtroom.

The scheme didn’t work out exactly as he planned, but he did save a good three years in rent money, which is enough to put a down payment on a pretty good house.

Remember that knowledge is power. So, never walk away from the opportunity to learn how money works in America.

While we have to give Mr. Robinson kudos for his creativity, he doesn’t actually get to keep the house that he’s claiming in this video. You can find out what happened at this link.

His efforts may have been unorthodox, but truthfully, they aren’t much different from what Europeans did to steal land from native Americans many centuries ago. A large proportion of the land that Americans think we own actually belongs to somebody else. Sometimes, it comes down to who squats down the hardest.
