Hello, I hope you're doing well.

As you might know, I've been in the country of Guyana this week, where I'll be for the next several months. I've loved this beautiful country, and my only setback has been the inability to get fast enough wifi to allow me to do livestreams.

However, I'm still active and you can follow my Guyana adventure on twitter or instagram by searching for the hashtag #DrBoyceGuyana (feel free to message me using the hashtag and share pictures of your own).

Here's a Time Management Tip that I wanted to share: Every email, text, Facebook message and phone call doesn't need a reply,, especially if you're a goal-oriented person. In fact, it's a productivity killer. It's easy to believe that because you're sitting in front of your computer, you're actually getting something done. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Social media has it's place, but most of the time, you're not using it to build anything for yourself. Instead, you're making Mark Zuckerberg rich, while you languish away at a job that you hate. So, rather than giving that thousand word reply to someone's annoying remark on Facebook, consider making it into a blog post (on your own wordpress site). Rather than writing out your comments, consider doing a short video on your own (monetized) youtube channel. By being efficient with your time, you can find creative ways to monetize your life and not end up addicted to social media like the rest of the world.

Also, when you have specific tasks you'd like to achieve, consider turning off all social media while you're working: That means all texts, emails, phones, tweets and anything else that might get in the way of what you're seeking to accomplish. This is the only way you're going to get something done, since the entire world has been re-wired to distract you.
