Jon Stewart Stops By Colbert Show to Define The Hallmark of Trump's Presidency

Jon Stewart promises Trump a super-villain lair, and calls on Democrats to stop being a bunch of feckless...

The incomparable Jon Stewart recently popped into the Stephen Colbert show to make on on-air plea deal with Trump. Stewart kicked Colbert out of the desk chair to speak directly into the camera, addressing Trump, “Hello, Donald.”

In his famous hilarious, yet completely truthful way, Stewart discussed Trump’s foreign policy:

“Everything’s off its axis, it’s a little unusual. Apparently, Putin and Kim Jong Un are noble, intelligent role models, and Canada’s a bunch of giant assholes.”

But the main topic of Stewart’s monologue was the apparent “gleeful cruelty and dickishness” that Trump employs in seemingly all of his decisions, whether his is calling protesting football players “sons of bitches,” denying that he sexually assaulted women because they were “too ugly,” or accusing the media of bing “enemies of the people,” Trump relishes being hateful and vicious.

Then Stewart got around to the most vile Trump act of all, the separation of parents and children at the border. He accuses Trump of a “Dickensian level of villainy” because his administration moved past a “stringent border policy” straight into good ol’ human rights violations.

The former late night host tried to make a deal with Trump. If he would ease up on the assholery, Americans would give him some true comic book villain props like a huge building with his name on it, a 24-hour news network to praise him non-stop, or a volcano to ruin the hometown of his enemy, but alas, Trump has already been given all of those things to no avail.

Stewart got serious in closing and issued a rallying cry, “And what Donald Trump wants is for us to stop calling his cruelty and fear and divisiveness wrong, but to join him in calling it right. And this we cannot do. And I say, by not yielding, we will prevail!”
