CIVIL COURAGE vs COWARDICE. Kristin Mink, teacher vs. Scott Pruit, EPA head.

Kristin Mink told the EPA head: 'children deserve someone who "believes in climate change," calls for his resignation'

When Scott Pruitt lunched at Teaism, an environmentally conscious tea house in DC, he was interrupted by a woman asking for his resignation. The woman told Pruitt that America deserved an administrator who “believes in climate change.”

Kristin Mink posted a video of their encounter on Facebook. Mink is an elementary school teacher and mother to the 2-year-old little boy she is holding in the video. As can be seen in the video, she told Pruitt, “this is my son. He loves animals, he loves clean air, he loves clean water.”

Mink confronted Pruitt with a list of environmental regulations he has rolled back since taking up the role of EPA chief for Trump like approving the dirty sands pipeline and cutting fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks.

Pruitt remained silent even when Mink called for his resignation, “We deserve to have someone at the EPA who actually does protect our environment, somebody who believes in climate change and takes it seriously for the benefit of all of us, including our children. So, I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out.”

Mink states that the cowardly Pruitt, his lunch companion, and the two tax dollar paid security guards quietly fled the restaurant before her and her son made their way back to their own seats. He made no comments regarding her accusations.
