Australian lawmaker asks boyfriend to marry him on parliamentary floor

During a speech to the Australian parliament on same-sex marriage, one MP popped a very special question.

During a parliamentary debate on same-sex marriage in Australia, MP Tim Wilson couldn't hold back any longer. The emotional Mr. Wilson was able to finally ask the question he'd been waiting nine long years to pose.

"In my first speech, I defined our bond by the ring that sits on both of our left hands. They [the rings] are the answer to the question we cannot ask. So there is only one thing left to do. Ryan Patrick Bolger, will you marry me?"
